The Kinderstars have been rolling right along with their learning. This month we have continued working on Unit 7 - Shadows and Reflections. The students have learned why we see shadows, what makes shadows change, and what a reflection is. They have really enjoyed singing the song My Shadow and finally being able to see their own shadows during recess.Books We Read:Moonbear’s ShadowWhen Tomo MovesThe Paper Bag PrincessRaccoon on his OwnThe Ugly DucklingZinnia’s Flower GardenBirdsThe Very Hungry CaterpillarThe Puddle PailLlama Llama Home With MamaA Chair for my MotherOnce There Was A CaterpillarLiteracy:The Kinderstars have been reading and illustrating many poems, including Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring is Here, and Rain.
